The Spinnaker, a fine dining restaurant at the Valamar Riviera hotel and the Miramare restaurant at Valamar Isabella Island Resort have both been listed by the prestigious Gault&Millau restaurant guide. The restaurants received a valuable toque that confirmed their quality: the choice of gourmet dishes based on intriguing combinations of ingredients, prepared by award-winning chefs and paired with premium wines in a pleasant setting all contributed to this recognition.

Gault&Millau is one of the three most influential international guides and its 39th Austrian edition featuring Valamar Riviera’s restaurants has been presented recently. With this, Valamar’s restaurants have become part of the European gourmet elite, which represents a great honor for Valamar Riviera.

The Spinnaker offers dishes based on imaginative combinations of premium, locally sourced ingredients prepared as familiar meals with a contemporary twist. The exquisite choice of dishes prepared by top chefs include beefsteak with berry jam or sea bream in lemon and sage sauce.

The Miramare offers a varied selection of dishes and drinks all served next to the infinity pool with spectacular sea view, with a selection of premium local wines to complete the dining experience. The Croatian edition of this prestigious guide will be available in spring 2018. It will follow the development of the Croatian gastronomic scene and will offer annual ratings of restaurants, wines and culinary products, thus enabling their presentation and promotion in Croatia and abroad and build on Croatia’s status as top wine & gourmet destination.
