Valamar Riviera has won the Share of the Year award (by public choice) for the fifth time in a row. The Zagreb Stock Exchange traditionally awards this recognition in order to promote and support the best and promote the recognition of the capital market and its active participants among the financial and general public. The awarding ceremony was held today in Zagreb. Mr. Marko Čižmek, Member of the Management Board, accepted the award on behalf of Valamar Riviera.
The President of the ZSE Management Board, Ms. Ivana Gažić said: “We want to continually identify and reward what is good on our market. We do not wish to refer to the past but to the future, and follow those who strive to set a good example. We are pleased that our award has become a recognition of excellence that our winners often communicate with pride. The reward is also a strong message to the whole investment community and the public that commitment, value and excellence are eventually recognized and awarded. “

The ZSE Reward committee considers objective and statistical criteria when determining the award winners, as well as their contribution to the education on and development of the local capital market. The award categories are Top Turnover Stock, Top Price Gainer, Top Turnover Gainer, Member of the Year, ZSE Academy Award for Extraordinary Contribution to Capital Market Education, Award for Extraordinary Contribution to the Capital Market Development and Share of the Year. The public votes for the Share of the Year through an online survey available on the ZSE webpage.
