This is the first nomination for both the hotels, and with this prestigious award, also known as the Oscar of the hotel industry, they become part of the industry top class, together with the Ritz Carlton and Burj Al Arab.
After their first nomination for the prestigious Luxury Hotel Awards, given to the best hotels in the world, the Valamar Dubrovnik President 5* and the Valamar Isabella Island Resort 4* & 5* received this coveted tourism accolade. The Valamar Dubrovnik President 5* received the Luxury Beach Hotel Award, while the Valamar Isabella Island Resort 4* & 5* received the Luxury Island Resort Award. Valamar Hotels & Resorts also won in the category Best Hotel Group in 2016 in Southern Europe. The fact that not only professionals but also guests can vote for hotels, makes this recognition even more relevant.
