After last year's success, Valamar Dubrovnik President 5*, Valamar Isabella Island Resort 4*/5* and the whole Valamar Hotels and Resorts group have won several Luxury Hotel Awards. These coveted accolades in the hotel industry are awarded to the best hotels in the world.
As Croatia's best, Valamar Dubrovnik President 5* has won two awards: Luxury Beach Resort and Luxury Romantic Hotel. Valamar Isabella Island Resort 4*/5* is the best in Croatia in two categories: Luxury Island Resort and Luxury Family Hotel.
Valamar Hotels and Resorts Group has won three awards: Luxury Collection Group 2017, Luxury Management Group 2017 and Luxury Brand 2017.
The fact that not only professionals, but also guests can vote for hotels make these recognitions even more relevant, with 300,000 people voting this year.

The World Luxury Hotel Awards is a recognized global organization providing luxury hotels with recognition for their facilities and service excellence provided. This prestigious international award is regarded as the pinnacle of achievement for luxury hotels worldwide: it represents a professional recognition to luxury hotels that have become industry leaders and set themselves apart from other luxury hotels. It is also known as the Oscar of the hotel industry and the winners are announced during a gala ceremony at the end of the year. This year the gala ceremony was held in St. Moritz in Switzerland.
