Valamar campsites under the Camping Adriatic by Valamar brand keep on winning international awards.
After ADAC inspected over 2000 campsites across Europe, the Istrian campsite Lanterna Premium Camping Resort 4*, Krk Premium Camping Resort 5* and Baška Beach Camping Resort 4* have recently received new top recognitions form this German automobile club – the ADAC Superplatz 2019 mark.
“This is a great recognition for Camping Adriatic by Valamar campsites and we are extremely pleased that three Valamar campsites have received this coveted accolade. Lanterna Premium Camping Resort and Krk Premium Camping Resort have already joined the prestigious European campsites that set an example for other campsites in Europe and are members of the elite group of the 40 best European campsites that are part of the renowned association Leading Campings of Europe”, said Bruno Radoš, Head of Camping Operations and Regional General Manager at Valamar Riviera.
Croatia has 10 campsites carrying the Superplatz mark and three of them are Valamar campsites. There are 115 of them in Europe and the majority is in Italy (27 campsites). Each year ADAC inspectors travel 135,000 km to collect campers’ impressions and reviews. There is a pre-defined system for rating the quality of services and facilities and campsites classified as 5-star properties based on their services, facilities and quality offered are eligible for this award. This recognition is given for a 1-year period.
