The newly renovated family Valamar Meteor Hotel 4 * in Makarska is open for the 2021 tourist season

With the completion of the second phase of investments that Imperial Riviera started in 2019, Valamar Meteor Hotel 4 * in Makarska was successfully reconstructed and renovated. This investment is worth HRK 85 million, and the famous Makarska hotel received a number of new facilities and higher quality accommodation. The Valamar Meteor Hotel is market-oriented towards families with children, guests seeking an active vacation and athletes. The hotel opened in time for the Easter holidays.

The Valamar Meteor Hotel investments included the construction of a new outdoor pool and the expansion of the existing one with new facilities and attractions adapted to family needs, as well as the renovation of the indoor pool with a wellness center according to the Valamar Sun & Spa concept. In the first phase a number of 111 rooms were renovated, while the remaining 160 rooms were completely refurbished in the second phase. Children's clubs were renovated and fully equipped. The hotel also implemented Valamar's new hotel restaurant concept - Mediterraneo. The MICE area with a total of 100 seats has been re-arranged and equipped, the terrace has been reconstructed, the access to the hotel and part of the parking lot have been renovated, and horticulture has been improved. The Valamar Meteor Hotel includes many novelties, the most notable being the new family and children products like Super Maro - a Valamar signature program, comprised of entertainment and animation activities for children of all ages, including teenagers. Valamar Meteor Hotel guests can also enjoy the Stay fit program with a variety of recreational and fitness activities, as well as V Sport Point, which includes a wide range of sports.

Hotel Valamar Meteor, has implemented the V Health & Safety program in accordance with Croatian safety standards and the recommendations of international health organizations. The program is implemented in all Valamar properties and guarantees the highest health, safety and environmental standards, as well as improved cleaning protocols.  All Valamar properties have a V Health & Safety manager which is available to guests 24/7 throughout their stay. The V Health & Safety program also includes V-CARE GUARANTEE - a new package of health care measures  with the aim of preventing unforeseen situations during the guests' stay. V-Care guarantee includes organizing RAT (antigen) and PCR testing, online medical consulting 24/7, health care services at the property or in a health institution, covering the costs of potentially extended stays for guests who contracted the COVID-19 virus, and covering the cost of the return travel by public transport.
