Val Sundance Sandy Family Beach at Valamar Collection Girandella Resort in Rabac won as best beach in the Adriatic. The awarded Rabac beach was developed in 2017 as part of one of the largest investments in Croatian tourism.

Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik Hotel 4* is one of the best three congress hotels, Valamar Diamant Hotel is among the best 4-star hotels and Valamar Koralj Hotel is among the best 3-star hotels. Valamar Collection Isabella Island Resort 5* received a recognition for being among the best stories hotel, while Krk Premium Camping Resort 5* is among the three best large Adriatic campsites. Valamar also had a finalist for Hotel of the Year on the TOP 10 list – it was Valamar Collection Isabella Island Resort in Poreč.

This two-day event held on 24-25 October on Hvar island is the largest tourism event and is organized by the Ministry of Tourism, the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Croatian Chamber of Economy, and this year it attracted almost two thousand participants. During the first evening, the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Croatian Chamber of Economy announced the winners in the following categories: “Destination of the Year”, “Attraction of the Year”, “Tourism Flower-Quality for Croatia“ awarded to businesses in tourism, and “Man-the Key to Success in Tourism“ awarded to the best professionals in this sector, while the top 10 in tourism received their awards the following evening.
