Camping Resort Lanterna 4* was awarded as best campsite in Croatia and received another award for best large campsite.

“Camping Resort Lanterna is one of the largest campsites in Europe. It can welcome about 10,000 people, and is also one of the leading campsites in Europe. In 2017 Valamar Riviera invested HRK 98 million in Camping Resort Lanterna, with over HRK 200 million invested in the previous period. This award actually goes to all the hardworking people employed at this large camping resort contributing to the service and product excellence we offer to our guests” said Bruno Radoš, General Manager at Camping Resort Lanterna.

Piazza is another feature added this year at Camping Resort Lanterna -a unique service concept promoting new standards in the camping segment. The innovative Piazza concept was also one of the finalists in the “Sustainable Tourism” category at the “Days of Croatian tourism”.

Valamar hotels are the best in their categories
“Best Congress Hotel” went to the Valamar Lacroma Dubrovnik 4*+, while “Best 4-Star Hotel” went to Valamar Diamant from Poreč. Valamar had two nominations in the family vacations category- Valamar Isabella Island Resort 4*/5* won first place and Valamar Club Tamaris 4* won third place. Valamar Girandella Resort 4*/5* in Rabac received a special recognition as “Hotel Investment of the Year”.

Valamar was also successful in other categories: Perfect Experience Creator was a finalist in “Tourism Innovation of the Year”, while Poreč Open Air, Valamar’s record-breaking project which attracted over 60,000 visitors this year, was a finalist in “Tourist Event of the Year”.
