Lanterna Premium Camping Resort, one of the largest and best Croatian campsites, has prepared numerous new features for its guests: Maro Premium Village with stylish and child-friendly camping homes or glamping tents, V Sport Park, new premium homes and premium camping suites in Marbello Premium Village, new glamping tents and a new beach for the guests of Glamping Village, extended walking and biking paths and Mezzino Street Food – a new go-to place to grab a bite.
There were 23 new concepts launched at Lanterna Premium Camping Resort last year only. In the last 5 years Valamar Riviera invested over HRK 300 million in this camping resort, while nearly one third of this amount (HRK 98 million) was invested only in the last year.
“We follow the growing demand and keep on developing themed villages. We have a Mediterranean village, a fishermen’s village and from this year on, the brand-new Maro Premium Village for families with children. This child-friendly area is enclosed and can be entered only if wearing a bracelet, so parents don’t have to worry. The mobile homes are fully equipped with toys and other accessories for children, while there is also a pool and a playground in the central area. The aquapark is located nearby, featuring pools for children of different ages. The restaurants are also differentiated between those specializing in pizza and pasta, Mediterranean dishes, seafood (such as the Tar Bay restaurant), the tuna bay concept, a snack bar for children, a smoothie bar that uses only locally grown fruit and vegetables, and the street food concept serving American burgers and Dutch frikandels prepared in a 1950s American caravan that we have imported and equipped exclusively for this purpose”, said Bruno Radoš, general manager of campsites operations, while also explaining how Valamar is setting new standards by placing local products in tourism and providing an authentic guest experience.
Lanterna Premium Camping Resort is like a small town with a central square, a market offering fresh, domestic products and all the other amenities a town has. During peak season the campsite welcomes up to 10.5 thousand guests daily and offers 3 km of beaches, around 1000 mobile homes and numerous pitches, as well as more than 30 entertainment options for all ages.
Happy Dog Premium Village was opened last year and earned an innovation award for the campsite. Lanterna Premium Camping Resort was also awarded as Best Campsite in Croatia and Best Large Campsite during the Days of Croatian Tourism, an event under the auspices of the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Croatian Chamber of Economy. This luxury resort is among the 39 members of the prestigious association Leading Campings of Europe and every year it receives recognitions by the German ADAC and the Dutch ANWB, the latter placing this Valamar campsite among the four most innovative campsites in Europe last year, while also being one of the finalists for the title of best European campsite.
