Valamar Riviera offers 200 scholarships to students in hospitality professions (chefs, waiters, pastry chefs, students enrolled in 4-year tourism and hospitality programs) from vocational schools in all parts of Croatia. The scholarship recipients will receive a co-financed monthly payment of HRK 1000, secured employment after high school, as well as attractive career prospects and continual training possibilities.

Poreč, 17 October 2016- Valamar Riviera, the leading tourism company in Croatia, offers an attractive scholarship program to students in all Croatian vocational schools training for a career in tourism and hospitality (chefs, waiters, pastry chefs, students enrolled in 4-year tourism and hospitality programs), amounting to HRK 1000 monthly in the course of a school year (10 months). The company has 200 scholarships available for applicants who will be given the opportunity to gain valuable work experience at one of Valamar’s facilities and start their career in Valamar Riviera, one of the largest and most desirable employer in Croatia.

The scholarships are granted in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism. All scholarship recipients are required to attend classes regularly, successfully complete each year and graduate at the end of their courses. They will also have the opportunity to do their summer work experience in one of Valamar’s attractive destinations, such as Poreč, Rabac, Krk or Dubrovnik, and learn in a stimulating and professional environment. All recipients will be offered a job in Valamar after high school, as well as free room and board for workers from the continental parts of Croatia.
